Why?

February2

Some people think they are better than others. Some people treat others as if they were nothing. Some of those people think they are so, “popular”! But they aren’t… Not in my eyes.

The people who think they are so much better than me, are just as equall as me. I’m just as equall as them. People are all the same, so why do we treat eachother so unfairly? In my opinion, I don’t ever think kids, teens and adults will ever come to a place and realize that they are hurting others.

But, the ones that do realize have a second chance. A second chance in life to ask for, forgiveness. They get a second chance to apologize to the ones that they have hurt.

Stop Bullying, Speak Up.

The Challenge

January16

” This isnt funny anymore!” Alice shrieked in terror. The suns light flickered and faded away into nothing. The trees grew taller. And darker. The shadows tripled in length, as if they were out to get her. Two droplets of water fell down before her tattered All Star Convers. Then two more. Three more, until a stream of tears trickled down her olive face, cleaning away the grime and sweat.

” Should we really be doing this?” questioned David as he glanced up at Major, trying not to look him in the eyes. He had a hint of concern to his voice.

It seemed as if he cared for Alice.. Maybe more then cared.. Possibly liked Alice.

No, he couldn’t.

“Yes.” Scoffed Major in frustration. He let the concerned tone slide, as if he didn’t hear it. ” If she wants to join the club she has to be brave… But apparently she isn’t” snickered  Annie. David sighed and shifted the weight of his feet. they had been crouching behind a thick pile of brush, watching Alice.

They were waiting for Alice’s reaction once it was midnight. They had a plan. A gut grinding, twisted plan…

I Am From

November26

I am from

writing forwards and backwards through time

the rustling leaves that move as the hushed wind whispers a call to adventure

composing a song, writing an inspiring piece or an awestruck work of art

the canvas like sky that changes throughout the day.

tea parties from dawn till dusk

family stories passed down from generation to generation

Christian Faith, Holy Bible, John 3;16

contagious laughter and happiness

a musical gifted family and varsity choir

rain drops that land on my nose and eyelashes

Germany, Sweden, America

the aroma of garlic, tomato sauce and pepper, from homemade spaghetti my mother cooks on special occasions

warm hugs and inspiring whispers my mom provides when I’m down

never ending love that comes from both sides of my family

But I am truly from the amazing family that God made me.

A White White Rose

November16

A white rose sits silently in the night.

It acts like a mirror, as it reflects the moon’s light.

Quietly weeping, the rose releases dew drops from the petals.

The rose is surrounded by lovely red roses that tease and exclude the white rose.

The moon looks down apron the rose, having pity and sorrow for it.

Then the moon whispers ” White rose, don’t feel depressed. You are unique, beautiful, wonderful, breathtaking and pure. The red roses are just jealous, and don’t realize that all roses are special. But white rose, be kind and loving even though they may not like you. But one day they will realize you are just as important, special and beautiful as they are. So never give up, white rose.”

Did you know, you’re unique, beautiful, handsome, smart, special and awesome as everyone else, but in your own way?

Chinese Cinderella. The Story Of A True Unwanted Daughter

November9

I’ve read a biography about a Chinese unwanted daughter by: Adeline Yen Mah. As my eyes wandered through the first page I immediately got hooked in. Adeline was the fifth child in her family, her mother died while giving birth to her. So Adeline’s father and siblings called her ” unlucky, unwanted and a disgrace to the family.” After every chapter I would find myself having sorrow and grief for this little girl. But then I would be thankful to have a family who adores, loves, encourages and wants me.

After five years after Adeline’s mother’s death, Adeline’s father got married to a Eurasian beautiful fourteen year old girl… ( yeah I know its weird when a younger person marries an older person.) You might think this new addition to the family would love and adore Adeline… WRONG! In fact almost everyone in Adeline’s family abused her, or treated her cruel and unfairly. Niang the new addition especially hated Adeline, even though she never did anything wrong. Niang would screech and slap Adeline, basically when ever she could.

It is never… NEVER okay to abuse any human being. One its a sin against God. Just the thought of a human hurting another human makes me sick. But I understand how unfair, cruel, sick and messed up this world is today and back then. That’s why I’ve decided one of the children I have when I grow up will be adopted from China.

What is your opinion about being abused? Or what books have you been reading lately?

A Perfect Night

November3

I was wrapped up into a fuzzy leopard blanket, and listening to Coldplay. I was watching the sunset. So many colors orange, purple, pink and yellow, all melt into each other like butter on a frying pan. The sky is like a canvas waiting to be painted.

Then jewels pop up one by one into the dimming sky. Rubies, sapphires, and diamonds illuminated the darkened night. I sat admiring Earth’s beauty, as a shimmering gold and silver star dances across the sky.

What do you admire about Earth’s beauty?

Rain

October25

The clash of cymbals filled the night sky. The crystal clear drops splattered on my face, as a silver light forked the sky. The dark ominous clouds drifted into place. The rain drops soaked my face, as a cool refreshing breeze lifted my hair.
This is my favorite type of day. The water reminds me the washing away of sin. It’s like when ever is rains, the water will cleanse the Earth from its sin. The hail reminds me of diamonds, and how fragile life is. Once the ice breaks it shatters into millions of pieces.

Do you like the rain? Or what what does rain remind you of?

Someone Who poem.

October3

We all may have that special loved one.

Someone you can call mom or dad.

Someone who’s there for you.

Someone who’s there to wrap their arms around to comfort you.

Whispering words of encouragement and wisdom, when ever you don’t succeed.

Someone who wipes the tears off your face.

A person who laughs at every little silly thing you do.

Someone who gives a smile from ear to ear, when they are proud of you.

Someone who you can trust, and tell every little drop of gossip from school.

And sometimes in life in your life you’ll fight.

But after the drones that have fired, and the ash and shrapnel are swept away, they’ll always love you.

These people are a gift from God.

And I’m one of the luckiest girl’s in the whole world to have this amazing person.

I’m lucky to have my mom, who’s got my back when I fall.

And every fall and mistake she’ll say ” It’s okay. Stand back up on your feet. You got this, we’ll try again.”

Do you have someone who is this special?

Prepresitional poem by: Emma and Alenah

September29

Among the crowd, singers with great courage and passion, wait
Standing next to the microphone with the suspense of the people’s satisfactory
The stands filled upon a crave for music
Hundreds of people line up to conquer their dreams.
With only one song
Four judges, one chance to woo them all
You’ll either make the cut or the opposite
This is the X- Factor
