A Perfect Night
November3
I was wrapped up into a fuzzy leopard blanket, and listening to Coldplay. I was watching the sunset. So many colors orange, purple, pink and yellow, all melt into each other like butter on a frying pan. The sky is like a canvas waiting to be painted.
Then jewels pop up one by one into the dimming sky. Rubies, sapphires, and diamonds illuminated the darkened night. I sat admiring Earth’s beauty, as a shimmering gold and silver star dances across the sky.
What do you admire about Earth’s beauty?
The smell of rain,
The rolling plain,
The mountain high,
The azure sky,
Full moon’s light,
The silent night,
Flower’s bouquet ,
A snowy day,
A waterfall,
A tree so tall,
The green of grass,
A lake of glass,
A flock of wings,
… and other things,
I love how many metaphors you use in this post! I now can imagine a melting sky painted with pinks and oranges, and then a night with diamonds as stars. I admire your writing a lot!
